The Quetin Head is a rocky headland on the Borchgrevink Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . The 900 m high formation is 5.5 km southwest of Cape Phillips in the south of the Daniell Peninsula and marks the eastern extension of Mandible Cirque .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the headland in 2005 after marine biologists Langdon B. Quetin and Robin Macurda Ross-Quetin from the University of California, Santa Barbara , who participated in 14 campaigns as part of the United States Antarctic Program between 1991 and 2004 to study the Southern Ocean participated.
