Quirinus Harder
Quirinus Harder (* 1801 ; † 1880 ) was a Dutch architect . He was the main designer of the structural engineering service of the Dutch Shipping Authority ( Nederlandse Loodswezen ) and designed various lighthouses on their behalf . The lighthouses designed by Harder were almost all made of cast iron , the use of which in lighthouse construction in the Netherlands was introduced by him. Many of them are now considered Rijksmonument under monument protection .

- 1866: Nieuwe Sluis lighthouse near Breskens
- 1875: Westkapelle lighthouse (upper fire)
- 1875: Scheveningen lighthouse
- 1876: Vuurduin lighthouse of Vlieland (upper part of the small lighthouse of IJmuiden)
- 1877: Lange Jaap von Den Helder lighthouse
- 1878: IJmuiden lighthouses
- 1880: Ameland lighthouse (Bornrif)
