Quynh Anh (born January 16, 1987 in Belgium as Quynh Anh Pham; Vietnamese: Phạm Quỳnh Anh) is a Belgian soul singer of Vietnamese origin. Her songs so far deal with the beauty of Vietnam.

Life and accomplishments

When Quynh Anh was 13 years old, her father entered her in the "For Glory" singing competition on the Belgian TV channel RTBF . She won the competition organized for young people and was taken care of by her new manager, who introduced her to a producer. Through this she met the French singer Marc Lavoine . This is how the song J'espère came about , with which the two singers went on tour through Switzerland , Belgium and France .

Signed in 2002 Quynh Anh a contract with the subsidiary Rapas Center of the company Universal . Her producer is Pierre-Alain Simon , with whom she is currently working on her first album "Bonjour Vietnam".

She achieved international success in 2006 with the song Bonjour Vietnam , written by Lavoine , which was accidentally published on the Internet . The song particularly moved the Vietnamese and awakened a longing for the homeland of those who emigrated abroad . Due to its popularity, the song was translated into English by the Belgian Guy Balbaert and was given the title "Hello Vietnam". Quynh Anh presented the English version in 2008 on the Paris By Night 92 show . A Vietnamese version is planned.

In 2009 she toured Europe , North America and Vietnam with her songs .

In 2010 Quynh Anh appeared for the second time on the show "Paris by Night" and in the same year appeared together with other stars from Vietnam, the USA and Europe in Hamburg on the show "Vietnam by Night".
