The Réal is a river in France that runs in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . It changes its name several times and rises as Ruisseau de Vacon in the municipality of Rians , first drains in a northeastern direction, then turns under the name Ruisseau de Saint-Bachi to northwest and finally reaches the place Jouques , where it takes its final name Réal . After a total of 22 kilometers, the river flows into the Durance as a left tributary in the municipality of Peyrolles-en-Provence . In its middle course it crosses under the Canal de Provence at the aqueduct of Saint-Bachi , just before the confluence with the Durance it crosses under the parallel power station canal of the EDF . On its way, the Réal touches the Var and Bouches-du-Rhône departments .
