The locomotives of the RŽD series 2ТЭ25К (German transcription 2TE25K ) of the Russian Railways (RŽD) are wide-gauge diesel locomotives with electrical power transmission primarily for freight train service.

The locomotives were manufactured by the Bryansk locomotive factory and work with what is known as mixed flow technology. The locomotive's traction generator , which is connected to the diesel engine, generates alternating current , while the traction motors work with direct current . In operational service, the locomotives are nicknamed Pereswet .

history

The series was intended to replace the old series 2ТЭ116 and 2ТЭ10М . The aim of developing the 2ТЭ25К was a freight locomotive with very low fuel consumption. It can be operated in multiple control.

The first example was produced in July 2005 and was presented in August 2005 on the occasion of the Railway Worker's Day . In 2006 the planned series was set to a reduced number of pieces.

By April 2007, the trials found in the organization Wnikti in Kolomna of specialists with All-Russian Research Institute of Railway and Wniias on the experimental ring in shcherbinka and Belorechensk ( North Caucasus Railway ) instead.

In August 2007 the commission recommended a reduction of the series to 20 locomotives based on the trials. At the end of 2007, series operations began on the Severnaya schelesnaja doroga (Northern Railway). In October 2008 the 2ТЭ25К.0003 drove the first coal train with a weight of 5,200 t between Inta and Pechora .

After 15 locomotives, series production was stopped. All locomotives are operated in the Kursk depot .

In December 2014 the locomotive 2ТЭ25КМ.001 was built as a modification of the 2ТЭ116U , followed in February 2015 by the 2ТЭ25КМ.002 .

Initially, the locomotives were operated in the Kursk Sortirowotschnoj depots of the Moskovskaya zhelesnaja doroga and Pechora of the Northern Railway, where the locomotives were given their name Peresvet . In 2010, all locomotives of the 2ТЭ25К series were in the Kursk Sortirovochnoj depot.

On August 24, 2011, three locomotives were given to the Bryansk II depot , these were the locomotives with the road numbers 0007 , 0014 and 0015 .

The diesel locomotive 2ТЭ25К is a two-section diesel locomotive with a supporting frame. It is manufactured in block-module construction.

The frame of the locomotive is a welded construction to which the main and auxiliary equipment are attached. It is also used to divert the horizontal forces that arise from the pulling and braking force and are transmitted through the automatic clutch. The framework is calculated for a static horizontal load of 250 t and the vertical load due to the weight of all the equipment housed, taking into account the dynamic load.

The series has a closed box, the roof can be removed in individual segments. The frame of the box is made of welded construction, including the two side walls, transverse walls and crossbeams.

The series is also equipped with

  • a multi-function microprocessor system for control and diagnostics, this system includes anti- skid and anti-skid protection .
  • Safety systems, including complex KLUB-U locomotive equipment and telemechanical systems for controlling the driver's vigilance, called TSKBM .
  • Multiple control for the combination of two diesel locomotives or three sections
  • Two cooling devices on the roof with a thermally insulated tank system
  • Three-phase asynchronous machines for the fans of the cooling system of the diesel engine and for the fans of the traction electric drive motors.
  • an oil-cooled screw compressor for the braking system with systems for drying and cleaning the air.
  • an electrical resistance brake with an output of 2 × 2,800 kW.
  • a driver's cab, designed with sanitary and hygienic facilities and equipped with air conditioning . Glass fiber reinforced plastic was used as a cladding for the interior fittings of the driver's cab .
