RAL Gütegemeinschaft Gebäudereinigung
The RAL Gütegemeinschaft Gebäudereinigung e. V. (RAL GGGR eV) is an association of "leading" building service providers who have voluntarily committed to providing high-quality building services in accordance with certain quality standards . The nationwide active quality association awards a RAL quality mark for building cleaning and a RAL registration for consulting services in building cleaning in accordance with the requirements of the RAL German Institute for Quality Assurance and Labeling. V. (RAL Institute) and carries out the corresponding certifications , working together with external and independent testing institutes.
history
The association was founded in 1987 and has been run in the legal form of a registered association ever since . The association is based in Schwäbisch Gmünd in Baden-Württemberg and is entered in the register of associations at the local court there (Schwäbisch Gmünd Register Court , VR 1063). The long-standing chairman of the association's board was Wolfgang Vollmer, and since 2007 the building cleaning master Richard Föhre has been chairman of the quality association. The RAL GGGR e. V. operates a full-time office. The management was taken over in April 2019 by Torsten Kohn, who replaced Lars Walther (2014 – March 2019).
The quality association is responsible for the areas of construction and final cleaning, building cleaning, glass cleaning , hospital cleaning, cleaning of old people's and nursing homes , industrial cleaning as well as other services in infrastructural building management and consulting services in building cleaning. RAL GGGR e. Works in the development of quality standards and quality and test provisions as well as the awarding and monitoring of quality marks and registration. V. works closely with the RAL Institute based in Sankt Augustin , which, as a nationwide umbrella association, is responsible for the system of quality marks. The RAL quality marks are protected by registration with the German Patent and Trademark Office and are published as recognized quality marks by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology in the Federal Gazette .
In addition, RAL GGGR e. V. advocates, among other things, proper tenders for building services and serious pricing, and is committed to wage dumping and illegal work . The quality association cooperates with the IG Bauen-Agrar-Umwelt trade union, among others .
The association currently has 51 full members and 12 supporting members. With currently more than 50 member companies, which "represent a total turnover of more than 1.5 billion euros and over 50,000 employees", it is one of the largest quality associations of the RAL.
RAL quality mark for building cleaning (RAL-GZ 902)
Since it was founded, the association has certified its affiliated companies, i.e. the full members , and awards the RAL quality mark for building cleaning (RAL-GZ 902) .
The member companies offer their clients sustainable quality assurance and are subject to regular controls by independent testing institutes. The companies thus document that they technically meet the high quality standards of the quality association. In addition, as bearers of the RAL quality mark, they have committed themselves to pay their employees in line with collective bargaining agreements, which is also regularly checked by external institutes. In addition, the quality mark is only awarded to companies that comply with the regulations of the employers' liability insurance association for occupational safety and are master companies .
The companies certified in accordance with the quality and test regulations of RAL-GZ 902 currently include, among others, Dussmann Service Deutschland GmbH , Gegenbauer Health Care Services GmbH , GRG Services Group and Zehnacker GmbH .
RAL-Registration Consulting Building Cleaning (RAL-RG 982)
The association has been carrying out a registration process for consulting in building cleaning since July 2010 . The requirements for a registered consultant are regulated in the quality and test regulations of the RAL registration consulting building cleaning (RAL-RG 982) .
The designation RAL-RG 982 can be used by consulting companies and building services that offer consulting services in building cleaning and that demonstrably meet the requirements of the aforementioned RAL registration .
By June 2011 a total of 5 consulting companies had been certified and received RAL registration.
Publications (selection)
The association regularly publishes brochures , leaflets and manuals on various subject-specific topics, most of which are also offered as digital copies for download . This includes, for example, various procurement manuals for cleaning clinics and old people's homes, for maintenance cleaning of administrative buildings and schools, for glass and building cleaning as well as for various areas of infrastructural building management.
