Raúl Corriveau
Raúl Corriveau PME (born June 27, 1930 in Buckland , Bellechasse , Canada ) is former bishop of Choluteca .
Life
Raúl Corriveau joined the religious order of the Société des Missions-Étrangères and was ordained a priest on July 1, 1956 . Pope John Paul II appointed him coadjutor bishop of Les Cayes in Haiti on August 25, 1980 .
The archbishop of Tegucigalpa , Héctor Enrique Santos Hernández SDB , ordained him on December 8 of the same year Bishop ; Co- consecrators were Marcel Gérin y Boulay , Bishop of Choluteca, and Oscar Andrés Rodríguez Maradiaga SDB, Auxiliary Bishop in Tegucigalpa.
After Marcel Gérin y Boulays PME's retirement , he succeeded him on April 14, 1984 as Bishop of Choluteca in Honduras . On December 17, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
