The Rabbruch and Easter Heuland nature reserve is located in the area of the town of Salzkotten in the Paderborn district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area extends northwest of the core town of Salzkotten and south of Verlar , the smallest town in Salzkotten. The state road L 549 runs through the area in a north-south direction , the L 636 runs north, the Lippe flows north and the Heder , a left tributary of the Lippe , flows north-east .

The approximately 219 hectare area was placed under nature protection in 1982 under the key number PB-009 .
