Rabenhausen

Rabe Hausen is a Dorfwüstung in today's district of Neuenbrunslar , a district of Felsberg in northern Hesse Schwalm-Eder-Kreis .

The former location is at about 212  m above sea level. NHN around 1 km west of Neuenbrunslar, 1 km southeast of Deute and 500 east-northeast of Mader Holz. County road K 3 runs about 400 m to the west from Deute past Mader Holz to Böddiger .

history

Little is known about the history of the place, which belonged to the Landgrave Hessian office of Felsberg . The village is said to have been devastated as early as 1334: a donation from the Lords of Elben of half a manse to the Breitenau monastery in 1334 is described in the monastery documents as in the field of Ravenshusen / Rauenshusen near the village of Brunslar, and two years later, the monastery documents mention the donation by the von Elben of a farm and barn in Neuenbrunslar ( maiori Brunslar ) with a manse in the field of the former village of Rabenhusen . On the other hand, a pleban in Rabenhausen is mentioned in a document from the Spieskappel monastery in 1342 .
