Rachael Jade Paxton (born June 21, 1984 in Roma ) is a former Australian triathlete .

Career

In 2008 she was runner-up in triathlon on the Olympic distance in the women's 20 to 24 year class. Since October 2009 she started as a professional. In June 2013 she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Paxton started racing again in early 2014 while treatment was ongoing.

It has not appeared internationally since 2014. Rachael Paxton lives in Maroochydore, Queensland.
