Radęcin
Radęcin ( German Regenthin ) is a village in the Polish Lubusz Voivodeship . It is affiliated to the town-and-country municipality Dobiegniew (Woldenberg) in the powiat Strzelecko-Drezdenecki .
Geographical location
The village of Radęcin is located in the Neumark , about 60 kilometers northeast of the town of Gorzów Wielkopolski (Landsberg an der Warthe) , 30 kilometers northeast of the town of Strzelce Krajeńskie (Friedeberg Nm.) And twelve kilometers northeast of the town of Dobiegniew (Woldenberg) .
history
In 1300, Margrave Woldemar transferred the village to the Cistercian monastery in Marienwalde . In 1608 the village was called Reyenthine .
As a result of the Prussian administrative reform of 1815, Regenthin was incorporated into the Brandenburg district of Arnswalde , to which it had already belonged in the 18th century. In 1938 Regenrhin was assigned to the province of Pomerania together with the district of Arnswalde . This took place in the course of the administrative transformation of the province Grenzmark Posen-West Prussia into the administrative region Grenzmark Posen-West Prussia .
In the spring of 1945 the village was occupied by the Red Army and soon afterwards placed under Polish administration by the Soviet military command . Immigration from Poland began . The resident villagers were subsequently driven out . The German village of Regenthin was renamed Radęcin .

With a few exceptions, the villagers were Protestant until 1945. In 1790 the Evangelicals from the neighboring village of Hochzeit ( Stare Osieczno ) were parish in Regenthin . The village church of Regenthin was a branch of the parish of the village of Zatten.
