Radek Číp (born June 17, 1992 in Havířov , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Přerov in the Czech 1st division since June 2019 .
Career
Radek Číp began ice hockey in his hometown and went through the youth teams of the local ice hockey club, HC Havířov . From 2007 he ran for this in the U18 extra league, from 2010 in the U20 extra league. In 2011 he moved to the juniors of HC Olomouc , where he significantly increased his points and made his debut for the men's team of the club in the second-rate first division during the 2012/13 season .
Radek Číp made his Extraliga debut for HC Pardubice on the first day of the 2013/14 season and scored his first Extraliga goal on the second day. He also ran for Pardubice as part of the European Trophy and during the season also sporadic missions at HC Rebel Havlíčkův Brod from the 1st division.
At the end of the season he left the club and signed a one-year contract (plus an option for a second year) with Orli Znojmo , who take part in the multinational Erste Bank Ice Hockey League . In January 2015 he was named YoungStar of the Month for December by the EBEL , having scored seven points (five goals and two assists) in 37 games. He was also used by the Adler's head coach in power play and undernumbered games. At the end of the season he was chosen as the best U23 goalscorer of the season (11 goals) for the YoungStar of the 2014/15 season .
