Radelstetten is a district of the municipality of Lonsee in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . The village is about three kilometers southwest of Lonsee.

history

Radelstetten is first mentioned in a document in 1275. The Rusch family from Ulm donated their property in Radelstetten to the Ulm parish church in 1362 and the von Herrlingen family to the church in Bermaringen in 1366 . In 1424 the Kaisheim monastery was wealthy here. The imperial city of Ulm is said to have bought the village from Peter Ehinger for 900 guilders. Until 1772 Radelstetten belonged to the Ulm office of Scharenstetten, then to the office of Bermaringen of the Lower Lordship.

In 1803 Radelstetten came to Bavaria and in 1810 through the border treaty between Bavaria and Württemberg to the Kingdom of Württemberg , where the place was subordinated to the Oberamt Blaubeuren . At first Radelstetten was part of the Scharenstetten Schultheisserei and since 1829 an independent municipality.

Radelstetten was incorporated into Lonsee on January 1, 1975.
