List of radio stations

Radio Q is a non-commercial, student radio broadcaster of the Radio Q eV association and thus the campus radio for the cities of Münster and Steinfurt in Westphalia . It has been on the air since October 18, 1999 . The station is located at Radio Q eV, Bismarckallee 3 in 48151 Münster in the basement rooms of the Studierendenwerk, which are made available to the station free of charge. At the beginning of February 2013, cracks were discovered in these rooms, which had formed due to the partially washed-out foundations. The plan was for the radio station to move to the previously unused leisure space of a student dormitory on Steinfurter Strasse for about a year during the renovation work. The move has been postponed indefinitely.

Radio Q can be received terrestrially in the city of Münster on 90.9 MHz, in the cable network on 105.3 MHz and in Steinfurt on 103.9 MHz. In addition, an Internet live stream is offered in two qualities. The program is aimed at around 50,000 students and 5,000 employees at the universities in Münster and Steinfurt: Westphalian Wilhelms University , University of Applied Sciences , Catholic University of Applied Sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia and Art Academy . The Q stands for quinque campi , which stands for the five universities in the city that participate in the sponsoring association. There are officially eight universities in the city.

During the lecture period, Radio Q broadcasts a moderated program from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to midnight, while the rest of the time there is a music program. The campus charts are also moderated and broadcast on Radio Q on Mondays between 7 and 8 p.m.
