Radu Mihai Păcurar (born September 6, 2001 ) is a Romanian ski jumper .

Career

Radu Mihai Păcurar started internationally for the first time in the FIS Cup , in the context of two competitions in Râșnov on February 21 and 22, 2014, in which he finished 35th and 33rd. Since then he has regularly participated in other FIS Cup competitions; his best placement so far (as of March 2020) was two 27th places. Păcurar made his debut as part of the Beskydy Tour 2017 on August 18, 2017 in Szczyrk in the Continental Cup , where he finished 74th. Since then, other starts have followed regularly, but he has not yet been able to achieve a top 30 placement and thus Continental Cup points.

At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld in Tyrol , he was 58th and failed to qualify for the individual competition. In the mixed team competition , he finished twelfth and penultimate place together with Andreea Diana Trâmbițaș , Daniela Haralambie and Hunor Farkas .

At the Romanian Championships in Râșnov in 2019 , Păcurar won the gold medal in the team competition on the middle hill together with Mircea Jipescu and Daniel Cacina .
