Hunor Farkas (born September 18, 2001 ) is a Romanian ski jumper .
Career
Hunor Farkas competed internationally in the FIS Cup for the first time , in two competitions in Villach on July 12 and 13, 2014, in which he finished 71st and 69th. Since then he has taken part regularly in other FIS Cup competitions in the following years; his best placement so far (as of March 2020) was a fifth place in July 2018 in Szczyrk .
Farkas made his debut in Kranj in the Continental Cup on July 7th and 8th, 2017 , where he finished 65th twice. Since then, other starts have followed regularly, but he has not yet been able to achieve a top 30 placement and thus Continental Cup points.
At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol , he was 55th and just failed to qualify for the individual competition. In the mixed team competition he finished twelfth and penultimate place together with Andreea Diana Trâmbițaş , Daniela Haralambie and Radu Mihai Păcurar .
Farkas also started in the individual and team competition at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2017 in Soldier Hollow , Utah, and in 2018 in Kandersteg and the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2017 in Erzurum , Turkey , but did not achieve any top placings.
At the Romanian Championships in Râşnov in 2018 , Farkas was the winner of the middle hill.
