Rafael Redwitz (born August 12, 1980 in Curitiba , Brazil ) is a French volleyball player of Brazilian origin.

Career

Redwitz began his career in his Brazilian homeland, where he played for Colégio Positivo and CSSE Petrópolis. He was also used in the Brazilian national team. In 2003 he went to the Spanish club Club Volei Andorra . In 2004 the setter moved to the French league, where he was active for one season with Arago de Sète and then for three years with Paris Volley . In 2008/09 he played in Italy with Yoga Forlì and the next season with the Polish first division club Resovia Rzeszów . He then returned to France and was under contract with Tours Volley-Ball for two years . In the 2012/13 season he played for the Russian club VK Iskra Odinzowo . From 2013 to 2015 he worked at Montpellier UC . In 2015/16 he played in Poland for AZS Częstochowa . Then the French international returned to Sète. For the 2018/19 season he went to Resovia Rzeszów for the second time. Since there were problems with the limitation for foreign players, Redwitz was signed by the German Bundesliga club VfB Friedrichshafen at the end of 2018 . With Friedrichshafen he was DVV cup winner and German runner-up . He then moved to the French club Narbonne Volley.
