Rafinha , real name Rafael da Silva Francisco (born August 4, 1983 in Guarulhos ), is a Brazilian soccer player . He plays as a midfielder .

Career

Rafinha has been under contract with São Paulo FC since 2003 and was on loan at various clubs in the following years. In 2010 he played on loan with Coritiba FC . After the loan ended, Rafinha was permanently taken over by Coritiba in early 2011 . After winning the Paraná national championship for four consecutive years with the club , his move to Saudi Arabia was announced in July 2013 . The player signed a contract with al-Shabab .

In 2016 Rafinha moved to Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte . With the club he was able to win the state championship of Minas Gerais and the Copa do Brasil twice . Despite an ongoing contract with Cruzeiro until the end of 2019, Rafinha left the club shortly after the start of the 2019 championship season . He signed a contract with his old place of work in Coritiba until the end of 2021 .
