Rafał Jan Sarnecki (born January 8, 1990 in Grudziądz ) is a Polish cyclist who is mainly active in short-term disciplines on the track .

In 2008 Rafał Sarnecki won his first two international medals: At the UCI Junior World Championships in Cape Town , he and Karol Kasprzyk and Grzegorz Drejgier finished third in the team sprint, together with the same two drivers, and third at the Junior European Championships. In 2012 he was third in the team sprint at the European Track Championships in the U23 class, together with Grzegorz Drejgier and Krzysztof Maksel . In 2015 he became two-time Polish champion in the team sprint (with Maksel and Drejgier) and in the Keirin . In October of the same year he was runner-up in the team sprint with Drejgier and Maksel.

In 2016 Sarnecki was nominated to take part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . In the team sprint he finished seventh together with Damian Zieliński and Krzysztof Maksel , and in the sprint eighteenth. In 2016, 2018 and 2019 he was each national champion in the team sprint.
