Ragnar Kjartansson (performance artist)
Ragnar Kjartansson (* 1976 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic performance artist, painter , sculptor and musician (member of the Trabant group ). He represented Iceland at the 2009 Venice Biennale .
Ragnar Kjartansson is the son of the actor, director and playwright Kjartan Ragnarsson (* 1945) and the well-known Icelandic actress Guðrún Ásmundsdóttir (* 1935). His grandfather is the sculptor and ceramist Ragnar Kjartansson , after whom he was named.
