history
On December 20, 1903, the Altenkunstadt Loan Association was founded. In 1968 the Raiffeisenkassen Strössendorf and Maineck merged with the Raiffeisenbank Altenkunstadt. The new name was Raiffeisenkasse Altenkunstadt-Strössendorf. In 1974 the General Assembly decided to change the company to Raiffeisenbank Altenkunstadt eG. In 1997, Raiffeisenbank Altenkunstadt eG and Raiffeisenbank Schwarzach eG merged to form Raiffeisenbank Obermain Nord eG. In 1998, mergers with Raiffeisenbank Schwürbitz-Zettlitz eG and Raiffeisenbank Weißenbrunn-Burkersdorf eG followed. In 1999 the Raiffeisenbank Obermain Nord eG merged with the Raiffeisenbank Weismain eG.
Raiffeisenbank Obermain Nord eG consists of five independent cooperative banks.
