The professional grill is a snack bar known beyond the Ruhr area at Bochumer Straße 96 in the Bochum district of Wattenscheid .
Owner and chef 's Raimund Ostendorp (* 1968 in Uedem on the Lower Rhine ), who already during his training won several awards and most recently in Dusseldorf - Kaiserswerth as a demi-chef de cuisine at the three-star restaurant in the boat of Jean-Claude Bourgueil worked .
Ostendorp took over the snack bar on January 2, 1991 at the age of 23, along with a recipe for meatballs from the previous owner Kurt Kotzlowski, who retired and died in 1992. The snack quickly became known for its quality. Thus schnitzel fried instead of deep-fried and meals on china served. The sauces are cooked according to Ostendorp's own recipes.
