Raimundas Katilius
Raimundas Katilius (born March 16, 1947 Vilnius , † April 4, 2000 in Bad Kissingen ) was a Lithuanian music teacher, violinist and professor .
Life
1964 graduated Katilius the Čiurlionis Art School as a student of Emilija Armonienė and Aleksandras Livontas , 1970 the study as a student of Igor Bezrodn and 1972 postgraduate at the Moscow Conservatory . From 1971 to 1975 he played the violin in a string quartet in Moscow . From 1975 he taught at the Music and Theater Academy of Lithuania , from 1989 as a professor.
Among his around 60 students are Leonidas Binderis, Jelena Alymova, Darius Dikšaitis, Martynas Švėgžda von Bekkeris and others. a.
His grave is in the Antakalnis cemetery .
He played with the pianists Larisa Lobkova , Leonid Dorfman , Golda Vainberg-Tatz and Petras Geniušas . He has given concerts with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra and the Lietuvos kamerinis orkestras .
