Rainer Bischoff (born May 28, 1958 in Rheda ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Bischoff graduated from high school in 1977 and then studied pedagogy until 1982 at the University of Education in Rhineland-Palatinate , Koblenz department. From 1982 to 1984 he did community service .

From 1984 to 1989 Bischoff was employed as the full-time youth secretary of the SJD - Die Falken. In 1989 he moved to IG Metall Gütersloh , where he worked as a secretary until 1991. From 1991 to 1992 he worked as a youth education officer for the DGB district Bielefeld-Gütersloh. From 1992 to 1996 he was state youth secretary of the DGB NRW and has been chairman of the DGB region Niederrhein since 1996.

Bischoff joined the SPD in 1990. He is sub-district chairman of the AfA of the SPD Duisburg . From 1980 to 1984 he was a member of the (then) youth welfare committee of the city of Koblenz . In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2000 he was elected to the state parliament and became a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia on June 2, 2000 . On May 22, 2005 , he was re-elected to the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia as a directly elected candidate in the Duisburg II state constituency. He was also able to defend his direct mandate in the 2010 state elections and the 2012 state elections .

Rainer Bischoff is married.
