Rainer Bloß
Rainer Bloß , other spelling Rainer Bloss (* 1946 in Saxony ; † December 10, 2015 ) was a German keyboardist and synthesizer specialist.
Life
Rainer Bloß studied composition , piano , arrangement and psychology at the "Franz Liszt" University of Music in Weimar . From 1971, Bloß was active with the rock groups Rainer Bloss Sextett or Rainer Bloss Combo and Vulcan , from 1974 he worked as a freelance composer and published music for films and plays as well as for children, etc. a. for the Omnibus pioneer choir . In 1977 he became a member of the band Wir .
In 1978 he moved from the GDR to the Federal Republic of Germany and then played with the Extra group .
Rainer Bloß met Klaus Schulze , with whom he worked and performed for several years. Bloss has been a permanent co-author at Alphaville since the mid-1990s .
Rainer Bloß died in December 2015. His grave is in the state-owned cemetery Heerstraße in Berlin-Westend (burial location: 18-E-16).
