Rainer Schubert-Soldern
Rainer Schubert-Soldern (born December 6, 1900 in Dresden , † November 7, 1974 in Vienna ) was an Austrian zoologist .
He was the son of the art historian Fortunat von Schubert-Soldern (1867–1953). He studied zoology at the University of Vienna , where he received his doctorate in 1926 and habilitation in 1950. From 1950 to 1972 he was head of the Institute for Anatomy and Physiology of Pets at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna.
