Ralf Schulenberg (born August 15, 1949 in Erfurt ) is a former German soccer player.

Athletic career

In 1969, Schulenberg moved from FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt to BFC Dynamo , with whom he reached the semi-finals of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1971/72 . In 1976 the winger ended his career at BFC Dynamo with a knee injury. Until 1982/83 he was active at Motor Rudisleben in the GDR league . Schulenberg played nine games for the GDR junior team and three international A matches (1972 against Uruguay (2 games) and against Ghana). With the soccer team of the GDR he won the bronze medal at the Summer Olympics in Munich in 1972 .

Others

As a trained mechanic, Schulenberg worked in the maintenance of VEB Chemieanlagen Rudisleben. After the fall of the Wall , he went on 24 November 1989 in the Ruhr , where he initially as drivers worked, and later with Borussia Moenchengladbach in the security service .
