Michael Noack (born February 7, 1955 in Cottbus ) is a former German soccer player .

Athletic career

Michael Noack began his career in the second-rate GDR league at Energie Cottbus . In the season 1972/73 he rose with the Lausitzers in the GDR league , in which he came first on 16 missions. In 1974 he moved to BFC Dynamo , where he was able to establish himself as a regular under Jürgen Bogs .

With the GDR record champions, he won a total of six GDR championships between 1979 and 1984. Noack reached the final of the FDGB Cup three times with Berlin, but failed each time at Dynamo Dresden and 1. FC Magdeburg . At international level, he played for Dynamo in 23 games of the UEFA Cup and European Cup , in which he never made it past the quarter-finals. In the GDR national soccer team , Noack did not make the breakthrough with only two appearances, although he had played through various youth national teams. 1984 Noack ended his league career.
