The Randelbach is a tributary of the upper Ems on the left . The stream originates in a protected marshy meadow in the peasantry Wadelheim in Rheine , flowing from here in many frills and idiosyncratic turns on through the peasantry Bentlage and the Bentlager forest and finally ends just before the third lock into the Ems. The name "Randilbach" can also be found in old maps.

The brook is a spawning water for various fish species. Pike , sea trout and salmon were once found here during their spawning season. The extinct salmon tribes spawn here from late November to early and mid-December. Fishermen's associations set in 2002 in Randelbach many Broodlings out.

In 1937 the brook in the area of the Wadelheimer Uhlenhook was relocated and straightened.
