Randy Rainbow

Randy Stewart Rainbow (born July 6, 1981 in Huntington (New York) ) is an American comedian and singer . He became known through videos on YouTube in which he parodied interviews with famous people and famous songs. A common focus is Donald Trump .

Life

Randy Rainbow grew up in Huntington and Plantation, Florida in a liberal Jewish family. He dropped out of Broward Community College and moved to New York to build a theater career. There he started blogging and making videos. Rainbow is gay .

In 2010 Rainbow had a first big hit with the video "Randy Rainbow is Dating Mel Gibson ". During the 2016 presidential election , he shifted his attention to Donald Trump, gaining a large audience. In 2019 Rainbow was nominated for an Emmy in the Short Form Variety Series category. It has (as of May 2019) 260,000 subscribers on YouTube; 917,000 follow him on Facebook and 111,000 on Instagram .
