description

Thanks to the favor of Prince-Bishop Julius Echter von Mespelbrunn, the building could be designed splendidly. The three-storey gable roof building with a richly decorated volute gable was built according to the plans of the builder Peter Meurer and completed in 1609. The two portals of the main facade are framed in renaissance style by boss stones .

The Marian column from 1724 is located directly at the town hall .
