Rauenthal (Hohenberg-Krusemark)

Rauenthal is a deserted area in the Osterholz district of Hohenberg-Krusemark in Saxony-Anhalt .

The desert is located on the Schwarzholzer street ditch, about 600 meters northwest of Kirchpolkritz and 2 kilometers northwest of Osterholz.

history

The first mention of the place comes from a document from 1480. The witnesses Ebel Krusemark and his son Laurenz lived in deme ruwendale . In 1499 Ruwentall is listed in the register of feudal people of Elector Joachim and Margrave Abrecht. In 1686 the Rauenthal was a knight seat of the von Üchtritz with 1¾ Hufen Landes. In 1804 there was Vorwerk and Schäferei Rauenthal, Raventhal , along with a brick barn, which is also called Wellborn . In 1840 the Freihof had moved in for a long time and was united with Osterholz. In 1905 there was still the Rauenthal residential area, and in 1928 the Rauenthal sheep farm.
