coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved on April 15, 1998 by the Magdeburg Regional Council.

Blazon : “Split and half divided by green, red and gold; in front a rising silver horse, in the back a three-armed burning golden candlestick, in the back a green oak leaf rising obliquely to the left. "

The colors of the parish are silver (white) - green.

The three-armed burning golden candlestick is taken from the family coat of arms of those of Krusemark. The rising silver horse symbolizes the equestrian sport and horse breeding tradition in the community, which is more than a century old. Hohenberg-Krusemark is a stronghold of equestrian sports in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. The oblique left oak leaf stands as a symbol for nature in the entire municipality, especially oaks can be found in large numbers. The present coat of arms was designed on the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the community and was registered in the Quedlinburg coat of arms under number QWR II / 89004 on February 15, 1989 after the heraldic and heraldic examination by the Heraldic Society "Schwarzer Löwe" Leipzig.

flag

The flag is white - green (1: 1) striped with the municipal coat of arms.
