Rauno Sappinen (born January 23, 1996 ) is an Estonian football player who is under contract with FC Flora Tallinn in the Meistriliiga .

Career

society

Rauno Sappinen began his career in the youth of FCF Mustamäe from the Tallinn district of Mustamäe of the same name . From 2006 Sappinen played with the Estonian record champions Flora Tallinn in their youth. In the 2012 season he already played for the second team that competed in the Esiliiga , the second highest division in Estonia. On the first day of the new Meistriliiga season 2013 , the 17-year-old was surprisingly in the starting line-up of Marko Lelov in the game against JK Tallinna Kalev . Sappinen had to leave the field after 57 minutes due to a knee injury and was replaced by Karl Mööl .

National team

Rauno Sappinen first played for Estonia in the U-16 selection against Latvia in September 2011. Another international game followed against Ireland, before the midfielder in the U-17 age group against Germany in qualifying for the U-17 European Championship that same year Debuted in Slovenia in 2012 .
