Out is an EP by the German rapper and singer Tua . It was released on January 13, 2012 as a digital publication and as a CD limited to 1,000 copies via the music label Chimperator Productions . Out can be stylistically assigned to the genre dubstep .
background
Before the publication of Raus , Tua appeared over a longer period of time mainly through collaboration projects. In December 2010, a joint album by the rapper with the singer Vasee was released under the title Evigila . Furthermore, it was announced in summer 2011 that Tua and his group Die Orsons have signed a contract with the major label Universal . In addition to his musical work with The Orsons, Tua also worked on his own recordings. According to the musician, Raus represents the " essence " of what solo work he has recorded over the previous two and a half years. While he mainly appears as a rapper on albums like Evigila , Tua uses melodic vocals for his solo releases. From his point of view, the singing represents a “ logical consequence ” of his work. In addition, the sole public perception of himself as a rapper does not do him justice. Chimperator Productions announced Raus in late November 2011. According to Tua, the title refers to the expression “being out ”, which in his environment is a paraphrase for “ when someone is very close, comes up with strange ideas, or behaves strangely in any other way. “This applies to the“ mood of the record ”and the musician's way of working. In addition, “Raus” is in the tradition of succinct titles by the rapper such as Nacht , Grau und Stille . The track list was published on December 20, 2011. Raus could be heard as a stream for a few days on the music internet television station tape.tv even before it was released .

In the run-up to the EP's release, the piece Tust du noch so , a collaboration with Chefket , was released for free download . Tua made the song available on the social network Facebook . On Christmas Eve 2011 the free EP (R) evigila was released , which consists of remixes of eight tracks from Tua and Vasee's album Evigila , which was released about a year earlier . Tua also released a “Prollstep Remix” of the title Moment .
A music video was shot for the song Moment . Another visual implementation took place in the form of a video snippet , in which the songs of the EP are played to give the listener an impression of the release. As in the course of the marketing of the EP Manx des rapper Maeckes , Chimperator Productions published a making-of in which excerpts from the creation process of the beat to MP3 player are presented. A music video for the piece Vadata was also implemented. The creation of the title song Raus was also documented and published in extracts.
About two months after the EP was released, another video for the theme song Raus was released . A video showing the live version of the piece was released in May 2013.
