Raymond Wickramasinghe
Raymond Kingsley Wickramasinghe (born August 31, 1962 in Uthuwankanda , Sri Lanka ) is a Sri Lankan clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Galle .
Life
Raymond Wickramasinghe received on August 5 in 1989 by the Bishop of Galle, Don Sylvester Wewitavidanelage , the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On May 27, 2011 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the bishop of Galle. The Archbishop of Colombo , Albert Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith , donated him episcopal ordination on August 31 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Trincomalee-Batticaloa , Joseph Kingsley Swampillai , and the Bishop of Kurunegala , Harold Anthony Perera .
