Raymonde Guyot (* 1935 in Paris ) is a French film editor .

Life

Raymonde Guyot gained his first film experience as assistant editor for Jean Cocteau's The Testament of Orpheus (1960) and Philippe de Broca's Lover for Five Days (1961). In 1972 she was solely responsible for editing Nina Companéez 's film Faustine et le bel été with Muriel Catala and Isabelle Adjani for the first time . She then came regularly to work as an editor. She worked with director Michel Deville particularly often, a total of 14 times, including for the films The Unknown Beauty (1973) with Michel Piccoli , The Wild Sheep (1974) with Jean-Louis Trintignant and Romy Schneider, as well as for the star-studded chamber play Film drama The Booby (1986). In 1979 and 1986, Guyot received a César in the Best Editing category for Deville's films, Without Data Protection and Danger in Default . Most recently she worked as an editor for the film drama Nur der Mond sucht zu (1999).
