Rebellution is the fourth solo album by the German rapper KC Rebell . It was released on May 30, 2014 on the independent label Banger Musik and is distributed through Groove Attack . The album was released as standard, premium and Amazon editions, including instrumentals .
background
KC Rebell announced on April 6, 2014 in a video message on Facebook that it would release a new album. This was followed by the official snippet on May 11, 2014 , which was uploaded to YouTube . The entire album was released on May 30th and shortly thereafter reached number one in the German album charts .
The album was produced by Joshimixu , Abaz and JuhDee. Among others, Farid Bang , Kollegah , Manuellsen and PA Sports are featured on the album with guest contributions.

reception
The album received mixed reviews. Dani Fromm from Laut.de judges:
“As it is, the impression remains so mixed, as KC Rebell's statements sometimes seem illogical. On the one hand, boast about success and a corresponding amount of money, but then wonder why the envious people get involved. […] Always having rebellion and revolution on the lips, but then using the most tried and tested stylistic devices and content. "
The reviewer from the hip-hop portal rap.de sees the album from a more positive perspective:
“The new KC is basically the old one, just more mature and relaxed, but no less hungry as a result. [...] It's not a revolution, rather the natural evolution of increasing maturity and openness. "
