During training on April 25, 2015, the Czech hillclimb driver Otakar Kramsky got off the track with his formula car on the straight in front of the VIP grandstand and collided with a tree, suffering fatal injuries. Further training runs that day were canceled. On Sunday, after a training run, the race was run in just one round, with the Italian Simone Faggioli winning for the sixth time in a row. Second place went to David Hauser from Luxembourg, ahead of Christian Schweiger from Austria.
