The Rechberg (also Rechberghöhe ) is 929 m above sea level. A. high pass in the Grazer Bergland in Styria .
geography
The Rechberg is located in the municipality of Semriach about 20 km north of Graz . It connects the Mur valley and the valley town of Frohnleiten with the Passailer basin and the valley town of Tulwitz and Passail .
The Rechberg is surrounded by several mountains with a height of more than 1000 meters:

The Rechberg Straße (B 64) , a (former) federal road, named after him, leads over the Rechberg . It connects Frohnleiten and the Brucker Schnellstraße (S 35) running in the Murtal valley with the district capital Weiz and the Weizer Straße (B 72) running there from Graz via Weiz to Krieglach .
history
After the construction of the Gleinalm tunnel along the Pyhrn Autobahn (A9) , the Rechberg's importance as a transition in the Grazer Bergland has diminished.
Motorsport
The "HILL GRAND PRIX OF AUSTRIA", the Rechberg race, is held annually on the Rechberg .
