The Mendling Pass ( 680 m above sea level ) is a pass in the Ybbstal Alps in Lower Austria . It is the deepest notch between Königsberg and the Hochkar and forms the watershed between Enns and Ybbs . The Mendlingpass connects the places Palfau and Göstling . It was part of the Lower Austrian Eisenstrasse . Today the transition through the Erlauftal Straße (B 25) has been expanded. Lassing, part of the municipality of Göstling, is located in the area of the pass.
