The Erbsattel (or Erb ) is 671  m above sea level. A. high mountain pass in the Austrian state of Styria . The L705 road leads over the pass and connects the towns of St. Gallen (in the west) and Großreifling (in the east). The Castle Kassegg is located at Erbsattel, about 300 meters southeast of the pass.

On both sides of the saddle there are scattered houses by Erb , only around the highest point is the settlement called Hocherb .

This pass is the starting point for hikes in the Gesäuse , e.g. B. on the Kleiner Buchstein and the Ennstaler Hütte .

The nearby Erbschlucht with its slides, abseiling points and a 25 m waterfall is ideal for canyoning .
