The Sommertörl , a 1644  m above sea level. A. high mountain crossing in western Styria , connects the Pölstal with the Seckau basin .

The road between the towns of Sankt Oswald-Möderbrugg and Gaal is partly an undeveloped private road, but it is signposted and can be used by the public. The pass crossing is not cleared in winter, which is why it can only be used to a limited extent during this time.

The top of the pass, located in a forest clearing, only offers views of higher regions, but on the ramps you can overlook the Pölstal and Gaalgraben, for example the Tauernwindpark .

The Lorettokapelle and the Rosenkogel are popular hiking destinations that can be easily reached from the Sommertörl.
