The Kleine Semmering is 463 m above sea level. A. high pass on the eastern edge of the Alps in the Vienna Woods in Lower Austria near Breitenfurt . It forms the watershed between the Wienfluss and Liesingbach . It is located on the district border between Mödling and St. Pölten . While the road climbs relatively straight from Breitenfurt to the pass, there are some serpentines on the north side from Wolfsgraben .
In 1872 the connection between Breitenfurt and Wolfsgraben still ran via the Annen-Kreuz, a little north of the current road crossing.
The Hafnerberg is also known colloquially as the Kleiner Semmering .
