The Paulitschsattel ( Slov. Pavličevo sedlo ) or simply Paulitsch ( Pavlič ) is 1338  m above sea level. A. high alpine pass on the border between Austria ( Carinthia ) and Slovenia ( Lower Styria ) near the Seebergsattel . It forms the northern boundary of the Steiner Alps opposite the Karawanken .

The road over the saddle is paved and well developed on the Austrian and Slovenian sides. The traffic is rather low, the main local traffic connection between the two countries is the Seeberg Straße (B 82) over the Seebergsattel. The closest place on the Austrian side is Bad Eisenkappel ( Železna Kapla ), the neighboring municipality in Slovenia is Solčava (German: Sulzbach) in the Logar valley . The Rinka waterfall excursion destination is located in the Logarska Dolina (Logar Valley). The Paulitschsattel is also suitable for motorcycle excursions.
