traffic
The saddle is only important locally and for excursions, as mostly the Katschberg and especially the Katschberg tunnel of the Tauern motorway offer a faster connection. The Katschberg connects to the west. To the north lies the Lungau with access to the Radstädter Tauern and the Murtal . To the east, the Turrach and the Flattnitz connect . The north ramp of the Nockalmstrasse begins a few kilometers away in the Krems .
