Defending champion from 2011 was James Willstrop , who defeated Karim Darwish 3-1 in the final at that time . The tournament did not take place in 2012. A special feature of the tournament was the game mode, which was unusual for the PSA World Tour. The 24 best players were seeded, the best 16 received a bye in the first round.
