Reckoning Night (dt. Night of Reckoning ) is the fourth studio album by the Finnish power metal band Sonata Arctica . It was released in 2004 and is the band's first album on German metal label Nuclear Blast .

Cover

The cover shows a sailing ship in a storm; two whipped waves next to the ship look like wolves. Some lyrics inspired the cover design, such as White Pearl, Black Oceans , Ain't Your Fairytale and The Boy Who Wanted To Be A Real Puppet . However, it is not a concept album .

The song Jam is included as the eleventh or twelfth track on the CD, but is not listed either on the back of the CD case or in the booklet. The band can be heard during an acoustic jam session . The song is often confused with the bonus track Wrecking the Sphere , which is also included on the Japanese / Korean version of the album, but is listed there in the track listing.
