This discography is an overview of the musical works of Sonata Arctica , a power metal band from the Finnish city of Kemi . According to sources and record awards, it has sold more than 180,000 records to date. The most successful release of Sonata Arctica is the album Ecliptica with over 31,000 units sold.

Sonata Arctica currently consists of the singer Tony Kakko , the guitarist Elias Viljanen , the bassist Pasi Kauppinen, the keyboardist Henrik "Henkka" Klingenberg , the drummer Tommy Portimo .
