The Reetzer Bach is a good three and a half kilometers long left and northeastern tributary of the Ahr in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Euskirchen .
geography
course
The Reetzer Bach rises at an altitude of about 509 m above sea level. NHN of an intermittent spring in the meadow corridor Am Keespütz almost eight hundred meters north of the Reetz district of Blankenheim , only 35 m west of the K 41 , which will accompany it to its mouth. At first it flows strongly straightened through grassland towards the south and reaches the northern edge of Reetz. From there it carries water all year round. It passes the village and is fed by an inlet on the southern edge of the village on its right side. Shortly afterwards it is reinforced on the other side by two tributaries. It now runs in a south-westerly direction past a sewage treatment plant . A good half a kilometer down the stream it flows on its right side towards the Rothsiefen . The Reetzer Bach now flows more southwards through meadows and forests and finally flows south of the Reetzer Mühle at an altitude of about 392 m above sea level. NHN from the left into the Ahr .
The Reetzer Bach flows through the Obere Ahr nature reserve with the Mühlheimer Bach, Reetzer Bach and Mühlenbach system .
